Kathy Emmenecker, founder and President of Third Wave Workforce, has been teaching, training, motivating, and inspiring our nation’s immigrants and the people that hire them for over 25 years. Kathy continues to develop and deliver innovative and challenging training that meets our ever-evolving need to work together, understand each other, and create clear channels of communication. Kathy has a B.A. in English Education, an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and is a Ph.D. Candidate in a program of Applied Linguistics.
Kristin Ekkens, Third Wave Workforce's Senior Consultant and eLearning expert, is an accomplished multicultural and language teaching professional who recently came aboard to lead our new eLearning program. In addition to being a talented trainer and the recipient of a number of awards for her work in customized program development, Kristin possesses expertise in performance measurement research and application. When you need the ROI for your cultural training initiative, Kristin can provide you with data that is based on meaningful performance results. Kristin has a dual BA degree in Spanish Language & Literature and Linguistics and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
